Raspberry Beer Punch

TGIF . . . welcome to the weekend!  It's after 5 p.m. here is Georgia, so it's cocktail time!

I have a refreshing beverage to share with y'all!  If you are looking for low calorie options, look away and just get out the Crystal Light and vodka.  If you are thinking "To hell with the diet," then all I have to say is, "You're welcome!"

If my memory serves me correctly, my sis-in-law from Florida (shout out) treated me to this heavenly concoction . . . it's was featured in Southern Living so you know it has to be good!

Here are the ingredients . . .
If I'm using light beer, I use three.  Since this was darker (it's all I had), I only used two this time.  I also used the less expensive vodka when I'm making a punch and save the good stuff for later.

Now it's time to mix this baby up . . . no photos needed . . . saves time so you can get your drink on sooner!  A pretty pitcher and fancy glass are recommended . . . things just taste better!

Raspberry Beer Punch

Ingredients:

1 - 12 oz. frozen concentrate Raspberry Lemonade
3 - light beers or 2 darker beers
1/2 cup of vodka
frozen raspberries for garnish

Directions:

Pour frozen concentrate into pitcher.  Add the beers and vodka and stir.  Add frozen raspberries for garnish.

Tips:  I pour the beer down the inside of the pitcher to keep it from getting too 'foamy.'  I also use the empty frozen concentrate can to measure the vodka, about half of the can (or more, depending on your day).  You can skip the garnish and it's still fabulous!

Here's the original recipe featured on Southern Living via My Recipes.

Cheers!

  1. Yes please and pour me a second... or just hand me the pitcher. I can't wait for an occasion to try this out. Which me be celebrating surviving the grocery store and actually putting all the groceries away. Wahoo. Thanks so much for sharing!
