These feel like dark times, but we need to live in the light.  We need to focus on the good in people, not their flaws.  We need to appreciate and accept the differences in others, not criticize and judge. We need to love the unlovable to show them there is light and encourage them to find their way to it.

Sometimes people do horrible things.  It's logical to be angry at them and 'hate' their actions.  But what makes me sad is that this senseless act will more than likely cause us, as a country, to focus on issues that are more divisive than uniting.

I don't like extremes . . . whether they are religious, political, social, financial . . . this list could go on and on.  There are always different points of view . . . whether we agree with them or not.  I do, however, believe in right and wrong . . . and this act is wrong.  I also know there is so much good . . . so many good people.  Let's not lose sight of that and make this shooting about something it is not.

My heart goes out to all those affected.  I pray for peace and light and love.

  1. you are so right. i think people are focusing on the wrong thing here, rather than focusing on what we can do to make sure it doesn't happen again. because something has to change.
